1996--UKC CD Dog World Award and High in Trial, 1997--CKC CD Dog World Award, 3 High in Trial, AKC CD Dog World Award, 6 High in Trial, 5th Place Novice Pup-peroni East Division Obedience Championship, 1st place Novice 1997 World Series, 1st place Novice Pup-peroni Classic Obedience Championship. Summary-- Gemma was shown in 23 obedience trials, earned 23 1st place awards, 12 High in Trial awards, and had an average score of over 198 (out of a possible 200 points). She also competed in the Novice division at three national level obedience tournaments. Gemma won a 3-way runoff to place 5th at the 1997 Pup-peroni Eastern Regional in March, and she went on to defeat the top competition dogs in the country at the 1997 World Series Obedience Championship in July and at the 1997 Pup-peroni Classic Obedience Championship in November.

1998--CKC CDX, Dog World Award, AKC CDX Dog World Award, AKC UD Dog World Award, AKC OTCH (Obedience Title Championship, Competitive Title awarded to dogs earning 100 points and at least on 1st place in Open B and Utility B and a third 1st place in either class. Points are earned from the number of dogs defeated). 10 AKC High in Trials, 6 AKC High Combined, Perfect score of 200, 1st place, Open, East Regional, 2nd Place, Open, 1998 World Series, 1st place Open 1998 Classic Championship. Summary-- Gemma earned her CDX this year with scores ranging from 197.5-199. She won the Open division at the 1998 Pup-peroni Eastern Regional in May and was in a runoff for 1st place at the 1998 World Series in July. A week after earning her UD she earned her first OTCH points; she completed requirements for the OTCH 2 months and 8 shows after earning her UD. Gemma just place 1st at the 1998 Classic Championship for a second consecutive year.

She is ranked #1 for 1998 in the Delaney System which is number of dogs in Open and Utility defeated each time she places.

CKC CD, CDX, UD. Ranked #2 GSD in Canada in 1996, placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd in Utility, Super Utility Award 1996. AKC CD, CDX, UD, Multiple placements.

Kiri was shown in AKC obedience from 1991 until retirement in 1997. During this time she acquired her novice through utility titles in both the US and Canada. She was consistently ranked in the top 10% of German Shepherds in obedience in both countries. She maintained her enthusiasm and "pizzazz" all through her career and people still remember the way she lit up the ring during her performances. She was an Olga von der Mausepitz daughter.

AKC CD--shown 6 times, five 1st place awards and one 3rd, 2 High in Trial Awards, scores 198.5-199.5. CKC CDX, AKC CDX - two more 1st place awards, 1 High in Trial 198.5. Eligible for regional and National competition.

Uno's AKC show career was studded with many highlights. He competed from 1998 until 2003. He was ranked in the top ten German Shepherds at all levels of obedience. He won six high-in-trials and qualified to compete in two obedience tournaments by having a high average score. The first tournament was the Eastern Regional, and he placed 12th in a class of 52 dogs at the open level, in 1999. Then he competed in utility at the world series in 2001 and won a 6th place.

Uno went on to complete the difficult UDX title, and then culminated his career by achieving an AKC obedience trial champion, or OTCH. This title is the highest title that can be achieved and requires defeating other dogs in his classes to acquire the necessary 100 points. Needless to say, he won many first and second placements.

Uno's attitude and work ethic never left him, and he maintained it during a career that included many, many trials. He is an Olga von der Mausepitz son, and a tribute to Debbie Zappia's breeding program.

CKC ranked #1 GSD in Novice, ranked # GSD in all obedience in Canada, 4 High GSD in Trial Awards. AKC CDX-1996. Multiple placement. AKC ranked #9 GSD in OPEN, multiple High GSD in Trial. Multiple UD placements. AKC-CD,CDX,UD, and CKC CD earned in 14 months. CKC CDX 1997 1st and 2nd place with one High in Trial. CKC ranked #9 in Canada, 3 High in Trial Awards. CKC UD Canadian OTCH points, multiple placements, another High in Trial. Died 4-98. Summary--Ushi began training with Debbie when he was 4 years old. Prior to that time very little was done with him because of serious management issues. Other trainers told me that he would never earn any obedience titles, due to the fact that he was very aggressive towards other dogs and humans. Ushi went on to earn 6 titles in 2 years, achieving a Dog World Award for this accomplishment. Furthermore, his scores in both Novice and Open qualified us for Regional and National competition.
