Olgameister Kennel and ProFormance K-9’s strive to produce quality, healthy, German Shepherd Dogs. We are USA members and breed to the WUSV standard for the German Shepherd Dog. Therefore, all our dogs have BH (temperament test), AD (12 mile endurance test), Schutzhund titles (working ability and breed suitability test) Korschein (specific structure and working ability) and a conformation rating. Many breeders claim to have quality dogs, but lack the proof to back their claims. Temperament, all important when selecting a German Shepherd Dog, is largely determined by genetics. Careful consideration is used when selecting breeding partners. It is our belief that pedigree and type must compliment each other.

A breeding program must begin with maximally healthy parents. Breeders must concern themselves with the health of their dogs well before they are due to be bred. We provide optimum nutrition by feeding a raw diet consisting of meat, bone, vegetables and essential oils. All of our breeding animals have OFA hip and elbow certification, as well as eye checks. In addition, our dog’s thyroid levels are monitored and regular blood tests are run and checked by our Veterinarian.

Our puppies are whelped and raised in our puppy house; a spacious, clean environment, providing optimal living for growing pups. They are raised on their mother’s milk through the 6th week. By week 4 the pups are supplemented with a raw diet. The pups are well socialized and exposed to obstacles, different surfaces, rides in the car, and have the opportunity for play and rest. All puppies are checked by our Veterinarian prior to leaving our property. We strongly recommend that the new owner take their puppy to their own Veterinarian for an additional check when they return home.
